Overview

All prospective students must undergo an administrative records review before enrollment. To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please carefully review the registration forms, which contain a full list of enrollment requirements.
A parent or guardian must accompany students during enrollment.
Admission Requirements
To enroll at Kaibeto Boarding School, students must provide the following:
- Enrollment Packet: All forms in the packet must be completed and signed.
- Immunization Record: All students must submit an up-to-date immunization record.
- Certificate of Indian Blood: Students must demonstrate membership in a federally recognized Tribe and provide a CIB.
- Birth Certificate: Students must submit a birth certificate or other legal documentation verifying parentage or guardianship.
- Social Security Card
- Student Attendance/Behavior Log: Students who are suspended or involved in disciplinary proceedings at another school must participate in a documented counseling session before enrollment. This session provides an opportunity to:
- Review the school’s expectations and rules
- Address any concerns the student may have
- Individualized Education Plan (IEP)/Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
In addition to the items listed above, students may need to provide the following:
- Current Transcripts: This includes grades, credits, attendance records, and test data (state and English Learner scores, if applicable).
- Out-of-Boundary Waivers: Students living outside the school’s attendance boundaries must have a waiver approved by the school board.
Medical Disclosure
Upon admission, students must notify the principal or registrar of known medical conditions, such as food allergies. The school will ensure this information is shared with relevant staff and make referrals to the school’s Section 504 Coordinator if necessary.
