Kaibeto Boarding School offers students various academic programs and support services to enhance their learning experience and overall achievement. Our holistic curriculum is designed to identify and meet the diverse needs of kindergarten through eighth-grade students. 

We provide extracurricular activities that support:

Afterschool Homework Support/Tutoring

Students needing extra help with classwork or homework can schedule meetings with specific teachers or staff members. These sessions help students stay on track academically and progress toward graduation.

21st Century Program

The 21st Century Program establishes community learning centers that provide academic enrichment beyond regular school hours. These centers offer students opportunities to explore:

  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Art and music
  • Telecommunications
  • Advanced technologies

Computers

Students engage with computer technology to prepare for the digital world of today and tomorrow.

Our computer programs provide:

  • Essential technology skills for academic and professional success
  • Hands-on tutorials in computer sciences

Summer Enrichment

Our summer enrichment programs allow students to continue their academic progress beyond the regular school year. These programs help students:

  • Develop their academic abilities, strengths, and interests
  • Receive guidance through college campus visits, camps, workshops, and academies
  • Enhance success throughout the school year

Summer School

Students can enroll in summer school if needed. Any student who attends can earn up to one (1) credit. Summer school offers students the opportunity to retake classes that were not passed during the school year.

Navajo Language and Culture

Kaibeto Boarding School integrates Navajo language and cultural education into daily learning.

Our knowledgeable teachers, community members, and Tribal leaders provide:

  • Lessons in the Navajo language
  • Workshops on cultural traditions
  • Hands-on tutorials in Navajo customs

These experiences help students express and strengthen their cultural identity.

Athletic/PE Programs

Our athletic and P.E. programs support student growth in mind, body, and spirit.

  • Participation in sports competitions and P.E. programs helps students stay fit, build confidence, and develop character.
  • The school community actively supports student-athletes during the sports season.
  • Eligibility requirements include maintaining good grades and attendance.

STEM

Kaibeto Boarding School students receive an early introduction to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programs. Beginning in elementary school, they learn fundamental principles of creation, building, and problem-solving. As they study core subjects like math, science and English, they apply these concepts in STEM activities.
