At Kaibeto Boarding School, we are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for our students. Below are the guidelines and routes for our school bus service, along with important procedures regarding bus changes, student pick-up, and inclement weather notifications.

Riding the School Bus

Riding the school bus is a privilege granted to students who demonstrate good behavior. The school provides daily bus service for day students, with pick up and drop off at designated locations.

Bus Rules

To ensure the safety of all passengers, students are expected to adhere to all bus rules and procedures. Violations of these rules may lead to restrictions or suspension of bus privileges.

  • Be on Time: Arrive at your assigned bus stop at least five minutes before the bus arrives.
  • Respect Others: Respect fellow students and the bus driver.
  • Remain Seated: Stay seated during the ride and keep the aisle and exits clear.
  • Be Courteous: Avoid using foul language or making obscene gestures.
  • Safety First: Keep all body parts inside the bus, and do not distract the driver.
  • No Food or Drinks: Eating and drinking are prohibited on the bus.
  • Prohibited Items: Tobacco, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited. If a driver suspects a student is under the influence, they will report the incident immediately.
  • Avoid Damaging the Bus: Students and their families are responsible for any damage caused to the bus.

Bus Change Requests

A student must have a temporary bus pass to ride a different bus from the one assigned. To receive a temporary bus pass, a parent/guardian must provide written notice or call the front office by 11:00 a.m. on the same day.

Inclement Weather Transportation Cancellations

In cases of inclement weather, transportation delays or cancellations will be communicated via automated messages.

  • To receive timely notifications, parents/guardians must keep their contact information up to date.
  • To update contact details, please contact the front office.

Student Check-Out and Pick-Up Procedures

If checking out or picking up a student early, the student must be signed out at the front office before 2:30 p.m. Arrangements made before 2:30 p.m. ensure the student is at the designated pick-up area, preventing confusion or unintended bus placement.
