School Information

A large group of children and adults pose together for a photo inside a science museum or planetarium, standing under a ceiling display of green and white hanging spheres. Some children wear matching yellow T-shirts with a logo, while others wear casual clothing.

On June 12, the students and staff of Kaibeto Boarding School spent a day at Lowell Observatory. Kindergarteners through eighth graders pretended to be scientists and explored the new Astronomy Discovery Center in Flagstaff, Arizona, with its many interactive exhibits. They saw the fifth-largest telescope in the United States and learned more about the planets and constellations to wrap up their summer learning.
